The Biz Beat: July, 2022

Summer days driftin’ away… but that doesn’t stop the new products from rollin in!

Safe to say for a lot of us, July was a busy month! Tons of our brand partners released new products and software updates, and we stayed busy crafting new videos and demoing gear. Here’s a look at all the Audio Biz happenings from July, and what we are looking forward to in August (you might be surprised to find it’s not the late summer humidity).

Shure announced the release of Stem Firmware Update 2.4.2 and barco clickshare certification

This update began it’s rollout on July 26th, and will be widely available in the coming weeks. The update includes improved microphone performance for a better far-end experience, updated branding, faster boot up time and more. Read more about it here.

Shure also announced that Stem Ecosystem now has Barco ClickShare certification which eliminates the need for you to rewire the entire conferencing system every time a new user needs to use the conference room, giving any meeting space the flexibility to let a presenter BYOD for video conferencing and content sharing. Find out more about the partnership here.

One for the new Apple iMac (3i-2421-IMAC), and another product specific case for the new Rode PROCaster II (3i1813-7-RP2). These cases are part of SKBs iSeries Injection Molded Mil-Standard Waterproof Cases.

Allen & Heath Dlives were captured in action at summerfest in milwaukee

Gearing up for the show, we had the awesome chance to talk with the engineers from Portugal the Man and Milky Chance. They ran these consoles for their show on the Miller Lite Stage at the festival.

Coming soon from Chauvet, the Maverick Storm 2 BeamWash is a compact, IP65 BeamWash equipped to produce powerful, tight aerial beams, wide washes, and individual pixel control. It weighs in under 40 pounds and nearly 10,000 lumens. Check out the new line here.
